Gala dinner is a festive ending of NSSS 2014, that is meant for NSSS choirs only. Entrance will be on hand ribbons without any exceptions.

Traditionally, it is a glamorous night that means dinner and dancing, flavoured by choirs' performances. At the gala dinner all choirs and volunteers will participate - all together 1400 people.

Transport. Right after the gala concert at A. le Coq sport center, festival and/or choirs' buses will take you to the gala dinner place (EMÜ sports center, Kreutzwaldi 3) that will be decorated and waiting for the guests.

Festival buses will also take guests back at their accommodation places. The first bus leaves at 00.00 and the next leave in every 60 or 120 minutes until the evening (morning) is over. The routes will take into consider all the hotel/school places in Tartu.

Evening schedule. Guests will be rejoiced and "danced" by a gorgeous brass orchestra Popsid from Univeristy of Tartu who is for Estonian choirs well-known as a marvellous party fellow from Estonian Song Celebration and Baltic Student Song Celebration spirited evenings. Traditionally will make its performances choirs as well and there will be lots of opportunities to open our songbooks.

The night will be perpetuated by a photographer, disks will be "video-jokeyd" by Margo Möls.
Gala dinner will last until 5 a.m.

Dinner, bars. Singers and conductors will have a 3-course buffet dinner, cold and hot drinks will be offered. Some hints about the gala dinner:
- Baltic herring matured in oak barrels, red onions and quail eggs
- Roasted beetroot with wheat "krõbu", goat milk yogurt and watercress
- Wild boar stew with garlic, chilli and Estonian herbs
- pastry pudding with rhubarb, blackcurrant and vanilla sauce. Catering by: Carmen Catering (owner of the restaurants Ribe and Cru - Estonian top 20 resturants in 2013).
Until the end of the evening (morning) festival bars will be opened where you can please yourself with nice liquids and solid-state flavours.

Dresscode. White tie / dark suits (incl. choir medals and the like if wanted) combined with the theme "Sea. Forest. City" - i.e., festive and creative. The theme offers many hints to experiment:
